Hello all. found two buttons and 2 round balls today. I don't know much about these so any help would be appreciated. The larger button on the left is blank but the smaller one on the right says gilt at the bottom. Has a star on both sides and has a crown on the top. And if there's anyone out there that can help with dating these buttons or round balls please reply. These were found at a site in sw Virginia. There was a GW button found at this site.

Pic of roundballs. The left one looks like one solid piece while the right looks like two pieces. Was the left one chewed on?!

The Buttons are most likely British circa 1800-1830s.
