Colonial Copper Kinda Day

Hit it up with Mom and Arty once more at our sacred fields. Im now weilding the T2 with the 13" Ultimate coil and it really is a deeper machine now. Decided to hit a grassy part of a field we havn't been to yet and immediately found where a house or barn sat , iron city. Worked our way around there and within 1 hour pulled 4 coppers out of the soil. 1 of the coppers I think is really old but not sure what it is. Some kind of Irish Half penny of sorts. The other coppers were George II's and the large cent wast 1830's. Left there when the signals ran dry and found copper 5 in the big central field. Decided to hit the field next to it for a change and immediately headed to the back where it butts up against the nipple button and bust coin field. Coppers 6,7,8,and 9 came out of this field. All Georges of some sort. Found a good amount of buttons again, 34. This puts my button count up to 172 and copper count to 18 for 4 days of 8-10 hours of swinging each day. We have been the luckiest people alive to happen on to these fields and find the things we find. May the signals never die!

Wait til you see what mom found....AWESOME and on my wishlist for a while now. Arty did very well also, actually hes probably still out there

Great hunt and check it out ,, South Jersey's back in the game ! Been awhile since that many coppers in a single hunt on T Net . What a score , another winder, that's sick , can't wait to see what's next .

All I can say is OMG!!!! Jim I am so happy for you that you have been having the time of your life. These fields are incredible and I know that there is so very much more there to find. It is great knowing that you can go somewhere and find some great things all the time. I have to put my stuff up next. But everything pales in comparison to what you have found. But then again I did find something I have been wanting to find And Yes you are probably right, Arty is probably still out there Gotta love his enthusiasmTill next time.....

That would be a heck of a hunt for over here...Great finds, second from last picture, coin on the left, looks like a William111 half penny

Can you show me the reverse of this coin please...

Actually I think it is a Charles11 Irish Half Penny...the harp would have confirmed it, pitty the reverse is blank, but I will stick with the ID

I believe Silver Searcher is correct. The one copper does look like a Irish Charles II (1680 - 1682) but there is also a William III in your group, and a KGI.
So it appears to me you found a super grand slam of colonials, James II, Charles II, William III, KGI, KGII. not sure if a KGIII is there but you said there was one. That is an accomplishment not happening to 99.99% of us..........( the 2nd to last of your posted photos, William III on left and Charles II on right is what it appears to be)

Thanks for confirming it Don, this surely is a Banner Day. The Charles Irish Half Penny is a Rare Coin here, only one recorded on the UKFD, and I thought the coin on the left was a Wlliam111 half penny to....a Grand Slam of Coppers as you say....Super Day
