went on what we thought was going to be a civil war hunt on a friends farm and it turned out to be a little earlier...Cut piece of carlos 111 2 reale, seven flat buttons two with gold gilt, what looks like a trigger( chime in if you recognize it), and several small round balls, probably pistol...thanks for looking..HH

Great finds there....last one at quick glance looks like a bayonet frog clip....
 

Nice cut silver piece!

I agree with Patriot....bayonet frog/scabbard clip. I have found them on French & Indian War sites here in Pensylvania.
