Colonial Silver in "just five more minutes..."
As busy as I am, I always try to find time to hunt. Haven't been since last Sunday but the rain got me out to an old spot. I had a half hour and needed to make it count. The Washington quarter and Indian head got me primed for something great, problem was I was out of time.
I allowed myself 5 more minutes and within steps I was latched onto a 12-40/41 signal, choppy, but at 9". I dig, found a handful of dirt containing the object, and I dump it. Here's what I saw
I'm pumped but still don't know what it is
Holy moly I am stoked!
Yep she's worn but I like 'em better that way. What a great year for me with Spanish silver!
Enjoy, happy hunting, and next time take that extra 5 minutes!
Steve
Oh PS- I'd like to give a shout out to Carolina Tom for the lucky t-shirt he sent me that I happened to be wearing today. It featured a picture of a flying eagle cent he found on a hunt with me. Thx Tom!
