ng over the span of 4-5 weeks at a cool site in Virginia. Unfortunately, the field was in corn last year, and the stalks were rough cut. Needless to say, its slow going swinging down 2' rows and bumping corn stalk stubs the whole way. So far, nothing too amazing but I know it has huge potential with the right conditions. And so far.....NO COINS! But I love the history!

I love that key! Just wish I could find the door it went to! Argentium, from what I could find on the Internet, the " patent" piece is a padlock keyhole cover. I believe the crown mark with GR below is a common mark from Georgian period relics....but, all I could find on the Internet with that mark had to do with firearms. Hopefully one of the pros on here can elaborate. Thanks for looking!
