Hi guys,

I have this gift from the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Southern Command and I would like your help to identificate the model and estimate the value of this item.

It is a sealed wooden box containing the gun and a medal with a certification by Gulfstream Rarities, Inc. on the back of the box.

I found a "BKA 98" inscription under the wheel. Serial number at the bottom of the grip is not visible.

Take it out, get the serial number and call Colt. Costs money, but then you will know. May or may not be real...

NHB is correct, you have a junker. Pretty much nothing on your piece looks like a real colt.

I think the patina is all wrong compared to the BKA marking, It stands out too much, plus the grips are to perfect. Nice collectable tho.
