Primary Interest:
Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Introduced my cousin to metal detecting on an island beach in the Columbia River near Portland. Found a buck in clad and some odd weights, flat lead rolled into a tube. All metal mode produced nails and junk aplenty. There was a lot of interference from the volcanic sand the beach is made of. I think Phill is hooked on the hobby, we had a great day out.
