Got out today and another day of tons of big flakes and broke points but weā€™re close. Think I got a perforator. tried to make it interactive with the pictures and showing yā€™all one of my creeks cause I always wonder what everybody elseā€™s looks like. I enjoy the nature as much as the hunt. Tell me what yā€™all think about that last broke new material is it crystal?

What a beautiful creek. Just not possible around here. With all the farming, our creeks are mud. Muddy water and muddy banks. Before farming, I think our creeks looked like yours. If I had a creek like that Iā€™d be in there every day!

I would think gravel bars that big with all the material on them there would be more points and tools. Iā€™m lucky if the bars I walk are 20 x 5 feet long and wide. Unless someone beat you to it.
I thought the same thing but unless they are covering tracks Iā€™m not seeing prints or flake piles normal signs of being beat itā€™s strange maybe the pile of good ones are hanging on the edge waiting for the next flood Iā€™ll go while itā€™s still raining just to be positive Iā€™m not being beat because there should be a lot more I agree with you i couldā€™ve took 1000 pictures of flakes just not finding the gold.

Experienced collectors will bypass every single thing unless itā€™s a point. I know a guy who wonā€™t even bend over for a point unless itā€™s black. He has a big collection so I guess he can be picky.

Right I usually only bring home brokes and whole points or big hard stone tools because Iā€™m just in a location that has a lot of those but that was the first time taking my new GoPro out so I was really just testing its image quality with anything I could find that was worked. Also started bringing home good chunks to practice knapping

Points and Poles is another new and upcoming video guy. All the ones I watched for years have stopped doing videos. Rocks Custow still does vids but mostly vintage marbles now. He said once he gets $20 per 1000 views. Doesnā€™t sound like much but if you get millions of views it will pay. Keep beating the rock bars something nice should be popping soon. Never know when a site will be washed out. Pottery and flakes usually mean trash pits. But Iā€™ve found some good things in trash pits. One of my Celts came from a pit.
