Went to a wooded area I had hunted previously. To my suprise the ground cover has all been cleared and ready for a good scouring. Took a dozen or more spent casings and leads to get to the Target signal of sweet silver range of a 91 VDI on the delta 4000. But there it was. Strong signal on sand so I barely scooped an inch and there was a sillouette of round and a hole punch. That's right. Pulling out a nice 1952 George W. Carver, Booker T. Washington commemorate half.
Another dozen bullets and casings and I call it time to fly and go get those chores done so I can hurry back.

The commemorative silver halves don't show up as detector finds very often at all ! Nice .

Thanks to all of you. Seemed like every thing was aligned to be a good hunt and a cool find to boot. Thanks again.
