Hunted sun. night - Thurs. morn
did not hunt as much as I could or as much as others would..but I did alright
had to make time for my gal you know
couple of spots were close to "10s" - one next to my resort was a "1" probably in my book - one of the worst spots I ever hit
took all my tools and talent to hunt it ..but it paid off
will talk more about it when I do full story

One of these days I hope to find a Resort like this!

I actually hit 3 resorts and a private beach between sunday night and thurs morning
I got 4 gold at my resort - 4 at private spot and one at another resort - got silver just about every hunt I think
want to write story about whole trip but I tell you this - I got in room just after 3pm - unpacked and put my machine and scoop together and got in water just after 4pm
my gal came down and sat on a lounge chair - I put my mask on - turned machine on and walked about 10 steps into chest deep water - bam!
first signal - scooped and came up with 14k 2 toned mans wedding band - hows that for a start - I'd told my girlfriend on this trip - that if I get gold
I would turn towards her and when I caught her attention - I'd give her 1 nod - I did and she mouthed - "are you friggin kidding"...nuff said

I went to Ocho Rios a few years ago and didn't have my stuff. I thought I would have a problem hunting there. Now I see I may have made a mistake. Did the hotels actually let you hunt in their water?

beaches - terra ferma - can be private - water can not
Jamaica waters are public - thats why locals can pull up and sell gonja - as long as the stay in the water its okay
so a hotel can stop you on the sand but not in the water - one guy told me he got stopped in the water by a lifeguard - I would not have listened to him - they dont like it cause they or their buddies fan for gold and dont want you getting "their" gold
