I got out for a 2 hour hunt in the midday heat to a site in Savannah, GA where digging then detecting is more productive than detecting then digging. Among the finds were a nice large ball button, a huge brass skeleton key and a Confederate J Hook. It is also the content of my next episode of Detecting Savannah Episode 19- Ambulance and Fire Trucks.
