Its amazing what a good machine, a lot of rain and perseverance can produce on a pounded site. Went to my colonial honey hole tonight not expecting much but boy was I wrong. I was finding lots of deep deep targets.
Found one not so deep 1884 indian in the trashy part of the site. Moved into the area where I found my Pomander last year and got a really faint high tone. About 10" down was my first state copper. Thrilled to get an id on it as the ground here is hard on coppers. It is also an area that does not drain well which explains why there are so many deep targets that have sunk over time. Also got another deep crusty 1882 indian, more worked lead, pewter? whatsit, pocketknife and an old looking piece of glass
