Connecticut copper, silver quarters 1940's pocket drop

Connecticut copper,a very fried one mind you.You can only see the wreath around head, profile on the front and top of spear on back. With water at a angle. This is 3rd one I ever got and they all look terrible. Anyway I would take a fried coin from the 1780's over a clad one any day of the week.My only other good find was a nice pocket drop that was in about a 3 foot area.Got the Washington 1943 s 1st then the dateless standing liberty, then the 2 wheat cents, and the Jefferson and dateless buffalo nickel last. No dimes?weird.Spent half the day working area I got the copper. Then changed spots and BINGO pocket drop.I almost gave up but took a break and tried the 2nd spot(same area) glad I did.90 degrees, in long sleeves. Always fun.Slow but very productive day.

Great hunt I keep seeing those standing liberty quarters and that's one I haven't found. I had a surgery on tues so have to take a couple weeks off but I have a old place scouted that could def produce one. I'm getting on here every nite and seeing what everyone is finding and it is driving me crazy lol. My wife saw me eyeing my detecting stuff today and she said don't even think about it lol. Great finds.
