Anyone know who Beale Street in Memphis Tenn. is named for Other then a forgotten military hero. It was named Beale Ave in 1841 for a forgotten military hero but who

Duh gotchya now......but there is one name in E F Beale's wiki write up that is in the beale papers. Can you find it? And maybe that person had some type of dealings with his family. Just a thought.....
