Cool Old Dog Whistle

I went to a couple of old parks in small towns here in southwest MN.
Found a bunch of wheats and this cool Old Dog Whistle.
Thought someone might what to see it.
I would like to know how old it is.

Vintage Brass Slide Whistle 1940 Orphan Annie Dog Sandy

This two piece brass slide whistle was made in 1940 as a Quaker Oats premium, and was called a “3 way mystery dog whistle”. It features Little Orphan Annie’s dog Sandy. It creates a very melodious sound as you blow into it and move the slide in and out.
The brass outer shell was polished some time ago, and has mellowed nicely. Closed, the whistle measures 3 3/8 inches, and fully extended it is 5 1/4 inches.
