Was looking for a magnifier and came across this.
Didn't know such a thing existed.
Works good on seeing small details.
Bought this from amazon:

This might work better for what I want.
Anybody tried this?

Here is a pic from the microscope.

Wow cool [emoji106]

Very nice setup and very inexpensive! :occasion14:

I've been looking for a while.just haven't found the right one yet...good luck:)

I've got one of those. Bought it a couple of years ago. Works pretty good, but I wish it had variable power.

Hi ,Rather spend the time mding to find the rare one in good condition. Looking at worthless destroyed copper coins through a microscope is a bit of a toss . TP

Thank you for your kind comment.
I took a pic of the first coin I pulled of the pile, just to show how it works.
I bought it because I have the shakes and bad eyesight, a magnifying glass is not an option for me.
I put this out there for people the might be in the same situation as me and others who might enjoy it.
Carry on with your ms-65 rare coin hunting. Not all of us are fortunate enough to have that privilege.
Maybe you'll like this better:

I may have to try one. Not for coins, but I occasionally try to get images of flies I have tied.

It might be too powerful for that, unless your flies are not much bigger than a coin date.
The pic I took was on about its lowest power.
I'm looking hard at this:

I think it might serve yours and my purpose better.
It is more like a jeweler loop power.
They're both on prime, so if you don't like it you can return.

I bought one of those and tried to use it. It works, but the pic function don't work because my unit is not supported by Windows 10, only 7. I need the software update for Windows 10. Gary

have you tried using any other software?
i use yawcam to capture pictures the program was designed as a webcam but it has a great easy capture function

Not bad. I'll look at one but some of the Amazon customer reviews aren't all that great.

I have two:

Negative is that it won't stay in position, so I have to hold it steady making it very cumbersome.

Negative is the post isn't tall enough to get a picture of a full dime, always clipped:

I have one, works like a champ, but the stand plain sucks. If you have a 3d printer you can make a stand, and a micro adjustment knob that really improved the stability and helps the zoom be more variable.

It works well on my Windows PC, but better on my Samsung tablet.

I Only have a PC, & Have no intention of ever owning anything else
that iit could be used on.

Looks like everyone on Ebay selling then for around $20 is
Getting complaints and getting bad reps.
has me worried yet, may be counterfeits.
the $60 + ones may be too.
They all look identical

Yeh, they're all a cheap Chinese gamble. Kinda why I went with the one with the most reviews, and a disposable pricetag.

this is an Amazon link to the exact one i bought, and I have no complaints for 21 bucks.

I got one for $20. Why not? Then I'll get another Dino Lite. Mine broke.
