Thanks, when i picked out that pin, i thought i had a war pin, lol... it's still cool, i think its from the 30's or 40's and i'm not sure what that ring is made of, it's either brass or copper and it's really heavy. They were found right next to one another...

the ring looks like one of those commonly referred to as a Mexican (as in made in Mexico) 'Biker Ring' that were popular in the late 1940's. Usually made of a nickel-silver metal. They have gained attention recently as collectors items and some sell well on ebay. Yours might be worth a few bucks.

That's definitely a cool pin and creepy ring.

I've found two skull items myself so far; half a ring and the ugliest medallion you could ever hope for.
