The last year I've started to really zero in on trade items, in particular glass and Copper Beads..I actually bought my new house (don't tell my wife) primarily because it was a short walk to the Columbia and there is a site I can see from my property.

A few goodies ( all finds from private and permissible land)

Nice finds love the glass beads, now are the copper ones hair tubes or do they call them beads in your area.
What are the three round disc?
Keep them coming

You've made some nice finds! :icon_thumright:
The three round disks are flat buttons with broken shanks that have been utilized by perforation or the center punched through.
In some cases, the Natives would hammer usable shanks flat deliberately as they preferred the button to dangle in this fashion.
Look forward to more of your finds.
Cheers,
Dave.

Yep, thanks for the articulate response Dave. The hammered buttons are fairly rare here .. But my hunting partner just found one with an anchor emblem and a hole.. I'll post it soon.
A metal detector could be fun here...
