Copper, silver and 3/4's

Less wind out here today on the Vineyard. Had a few hours and went back to the field that has been giving up some great coppers. About 1/2 in I got a good signal with the Minelabs and pulled this copper from about 5 inches down. At first i thought maybe 1/2 penny but after cleaning the dirt away it truned out to be more recent 190? 3 it looks like ? . I have not had a chance to ID this coin yet ? Fell free to weigh in . About ten feet away from the copper I got a hit and unearthed this little coin , at first i thought it was the snap off a jacket untill i read half dime on the back. After a little cleaning I can clearly read the date 1837. On my way out to my truck I left my detector " ON " as I have to unplug it to power it down, ON / OFF switch is not working ? I was not wearing my head set but heard a good signal as they were around my neck. I stopped and pinpointed the hit and after digging down six inches pulled this fragment of a quarter, it looks to be 185? . I don't think this field has been hunted, this brings the count to 12 & 3/4's coins !!

What do you clean your coppers with? :icon_scratch: They always seem so bright.

It maybr the flash on the digital camera I use ? I can't get details without the flash although it seems to make them appear bright or light ?
