Corded Headphones

I have a 540 Pro Pack ordered and after watching tons of videos, I have not heard or seen anyone using corded phones on the 540. I know they come with the 540 regular pack. Is the detector capable of letting me use my corded Grey Ghost phones? I know the Equinox needs one of Minelabs 40.00 adapters to use phones. Do I need this adapter with 540? Thanks. Ray

Hi Ray, I just tried my wired Deus headphones with my 540 and they worked fine as-is. If your Grey Ghost phones have a 1/4" plug, you will need a converter to convert that to the 3.5mm jack on the 540 -- that is, you'll need a 1/4" female to 3.5mm male converter. But those can be found really cheap on Amazon etc.
