Corn Fields?

Sometimes I have had luck in cornfields especially the fields near railroad tracks. The best thing to do is go out and see what happens and try to cover different areas and usually you should start to hit on something that was once there...Alot of times in the middle of a field and there is a clump of large trees where no one disked up the ground, that could be where a house once stood and they just disked up around it over the years. Alos I have noticed that copper coins and fertilizer are not a good combination. They always seems to be in very bad shape when laying in ground that gets fertilized quite often and they will be hard to make out. Just try it and see because you just never know, Tim

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll be going to hunt one of the fields tomorrow if the rain holds off.

yeah if there was something there like a house, school or church that was tore down........if nothing was there then more than likely your wasting your time
