We have been hard at it, My son/indianhead and I we got more permissions to hunt some new sites for us and we hit some of the old ones lately, couple of these new spots are old Indian camps, so you never know. I'm posting a few threads on the what is it forum with some close ups.
upper right hand corner, five wheats, two Canadian pennies. I'm going to put on some more pix starting with the buckle.

Until someone pipes in - I searched Google for the KEY and found that the DURABILT STEEL LOCKER COMPANY had a catalogue (1938) where they sold lockers for Schools and Gymnasiums, Clubs, Lodges, Hotels, Factories, Plants, Mills, Offices Stores, Banks. Steel lockers for all purposes, storage and wardrobe cabinets, racks, table tennis and equipment...

Looks like the key could have been modified to fit another kind of lock.
