considering it was getting dark and all I could tell is that it was yellow, it was kinda a let down when I got it home and cleaned, plus I worked my tail off for that ONE good keeper. haha

LOL, I dont know. It wasnt a mid tone right? But, I know what you were feeling. :D

Never heard a gold coin slam a detector (prolly never will)--but has to be strong mid tone..right?
I had a large gold ring give me a high tone so I wonder?

Well the thing is i got an iron grunt there too, as there was trash around so I dunno. It kept tellin me there was something there but also had a piece of cast iron waste pipe in the hole with it.
