I am checking on my moms house this weekend while she is out of town for the winter, up in the mountains in central Idaho. The little town has 1 second hand store, opens at noon and closes at 4. They had a small tray of jewelry by the cash register, so I picked out what I liked, unmarked gold looking earrings, big silver looking earrings, and a cute money clip with an owl face on it. Paid the asking price of 20181117_122929.jpeg 20181117_173637.jpeg 20181117_122933.jpeg
.73 cents and left! Got back to the house, hoop earrings are sterling, 7.2g, little earrings test 14k, 1g, and the Anson money clip I am keeping for someday when I actually have some money to clip!

Nice score! Check the actual post on the gold earrings for the mark. More often than not they are usually marked there rather than the main part of the piece. Well done.
