Mineral? Metal? Metaloid? No, Gold is a transition element Dynamic Periodic Table. So gold is an element and remember that the symbol on the periodic table is Au and Gold's Atomic Number is 79 with an Atomic Mass of 196.96655 amu and that Au-196 only has a half life of 6.2 days so it will be gone in a couple weeks if you don't keep that vial safe or mix it with quartz :angel7:
