Found today in a creek north of Dallas, TX. I am not sure about this. I continually have a hard time with misidentifying creek chatter vs flaked. What do you all think, worked or natural edge?

it looks to be tumbling and abrasion from water action over time, of a natural stone - to me.
the patina seen in one photo looks different than the area where the fracturing is seen.

The fracturing on the top part of the stone in the first image has what appears to be crushing.

The bottom image fracturing does not look like the conical fracturing I would expect to see.

Handing in person and inspecting could yield different opinion.
