So recently I've bumped up my orders, and am picking up 4 boxes at a time. Because 4 boxes is to much to carry, I use a little push cart. Anyways now my parents are worrying about me getting robbed going from picking up my coins to my car. Or going from my car into the bank to dump. My mom also fears someone may even try to follow me home for the 2 grand in coins. So, I'll be sitting down with my parents tonight to try to convince them to keep letting me hit these larger volumes. Here is my list so far, if you have ANYTHING that could possible help my case, please let me know :D haha. Thanks!

1. I will always go at different times
2. If anything looks sketchy, Ill just go back into the bank
3. I will always make a "heat run" on my way home
4. There are usually guards outside the banks (USUALLY -_-)
5. For one bank that doesn't have a guard, the head teller offers to walk with me to my car (Like that will help? haha)
6. Another person in my area, who's 20, does the same thing with 16k

Anything you can add to my list would be great. I'm a 17, almost 18 year old guy. We live in a great neighborhood, although its not the best, its far from ghetto. Any other questions feel free to ask. I also think getting into a car accident last weeks got my parents shaken up a bit. which doesnt help my case :/ thanks guys!

If the gun is concealed, no one knows if you have it unless you are protecting your life - hence "concealed." Who cares what the bank policy (or the law) is. The only way they will find out about it is if it's needed to save your life. When that time comes, deal with the consequences. I'd rather do a short jail sentence or pay a fine than be 6 feet under.

I understand where you come from; I have a CCL. It's a fine line to walk; if its illegal I'm not willing to risk carrying in. If the bank is in that bad of an area they will have extra security who will escort me out. Even though I'm a law abiding citizen it can be mistaken rather quickly.

Atleast carry a good knife with you since your under age...

Advertising that you have a knife minght be enough to scare someone away. Take one and clean under your nails walking into the bank.

no one is going to rob you for coin, even meth heads have more sense than that.

The thing to be careful with is tails. Don't go on the same days/times/ etc to your main dump banks. Don't take a standard route home, watch your surroundings, rear view mirrors. etc.

mostly common sense. I don't mean that in a derogatory sense, its just that in most aspects of life we get complacent with "Safe mode".

I would also recommend not posting pics of your car, details of your drop/pickup banks, etc. You never know who's looking...

Eat protein bars to carry more boxes. If someone is following you make a bunch of circles around your 'hood. Always pay cash for your coins so you don't get investigated. If things get ugly hire me or fiddy cent. What's worse getting robbed or suffering AG withdrawals??

Still no ccw in Illinois sadly (thanks Shitcago).

If your going during normal banking hours. Someone would be an idiot to try to rob coin boxes in daylight.

I bet if God forbid you ever had to fire a carry weapon, the media would somehow blame you . Say you enticed someone to rob you by broadcasting u had money or some bs. Still better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6.

7. I'll be "working" my own hours. I CRH for a hobby but it would be nice to make a little money too. And my mom doesn't want me to get an actual job because she wants me to focus on getting into collage, even though I have a 4.18 GPA and a 25 ACT score. Anyways CRH would be a great compromise. I could make some money, and also chose my own, minimal hours so she would be satisfied.

Your mother is spot on, guess the ACT doesn't have a spelling category.

So today I was hit on the side of my car, driving my sister home from a friends house. The whole left side (drivers side) of my car is wrecked. The crash wasn't my fault, but of course insurance says it was. Its gonna cost me quite a bit of money, all of my CRH money, and pretty much my whole silver stash :/. I currently am not working, because I'm focusing on school. So I don't know when I'll get the money back, and idk when I'll be able to start hunting again. So this is fairwell for now, but I will be back once I figure out a way to get my bank roll rolling again. And don't worry, no one was injured in the crash. HH all! Dig up that AG!

Some idiot robs the bank after waving a gun around threatening to kill people, you feel others are in jeopardy and you shoot him. I dont think you will do jail time.

From my experience, listen to your mom. You ought to concentrate on your upcoming college life & "pause" on your CRH activities for now.
IMO, the college years are the best phase of my life and I wouldn't trade that for anything else (& certainly not tied down doing CRH in your room).
You need to explore, exercise your body & mind & most important, network with other people so they may pay dividend down the road (either socially, spiritually or financially).

Good luck.

I figure spending 45 minutes a day on the way home from school everyday isn't to much. and this was I'll still be able to make some money without extreme hours. Doing 20 boxes a week like this I should be able to make at least a hundred average or more a week.

Couple comments,
You, not being able to carry- could get a tazer/spray that could be carried on hip and serve the same purpose even better than concealed. Criminal are far less likey to hit a target they can see is prepared in any form at all.
Another effort to lower potential is to get a couple nice boxes that fit a few coin boxes well- and pack them inside the bigger box or get a good heavy canvas duffle or gym bag. Big $500 on the side of a box might entice a criminal that otherwise wouldn't have noticed anything unusual.
Get a partner to travel with you.
And, always dispose of empty boxes and roll paper in a descrete way. Burn it at home or bag it and drop it in a city dumpster away from home. Don't just put them out by the curb for all to see.
Otherwise, just practice in your head. A little mental preparedness, awareness of suroundings, and plan to act/react will prevent complacency and hopefully give you enough time and wherewithal to avoid, escape, or win if trouble ever does come up...
Good Luck.

I saw the slight hint of a gun under his shirt. I made a comment to him and it turned out he was off duty PD.
I see the GUN comment did get talked about, a lot. When I was a sheriff I carried my 357 with me everywhere, county rules. When I left the department I felt naked without my weapon. It was still close by but not on me.
