Yeah the interior makes a difference, still looks like it was a good deal for both parties! I do the same kind of thing, I started with a POS $200 tent trailer. Taught myself how to do upholstery and all the other repairs. I would buy one fix it to the point I could double my money, sell and repeat the process. We now have a beautiful mint condition 10 year old 27.5' fifth wheel parked alongside the house that was spawned from that original tent trailer, it took a few years but was worth it. It was fun, I learned alot and kept myself out of trouble in the process.

Yeah, I just love rolling deals over. I'm now looking for another one. I felt at that point I could either spend about $400 making it seaworthy, and that wouldn't fix interior, or take the easy way out. I think I made the best choice. That is only the second time ever I have held firm to a price...I started to really want to keep it...dangerous territory! Lol

Look into pontoon boats, they are great straight forward restorations, lots of replacement parts and prefab interior options, other than the decking there's not much wood. Replacing the deck is fairly easy and a great selling point. Careful tho, once you take out a pontoon boat you probably won't care to have another conventional hull boat.

It's safe to say I have a weakness for all boats! I rarely see them come up for sale, usually mostly very new ones when you do see them interestingly enough, at least around here. Not sure why. You sure can't beat the comfort and ease of use of a pontoon!

So on 1 April I was a victim of ID theft. I actually got a call from my banks fraud department while at the bank. Anyway was told to go to the police file a report, police can get all information from their loss prevention department. I picked up the fraud package, filled it out, just got back from the police department. The cop says " so no money was taken, no sir my banks fraud department stopped it" well then why are you here he says? I thought for a long time before I answered.......well sir 2 felonies were still committed here a) I did not authorize the use or attempted use of my Bank card and b) felony attempted purchase of more than $600.00 in merchandise but please don't let me tell you how to do your job. I'm just a citizen like you are underneath .................. He took my fraud package. Said he'd call that company and call me back. I doubt it. But they assigned me a case number!

Sorry to hear that TGF! That pizzes me off, you were alot more calm and reserved than I was. As I said in another thread about my truck getting stolen, they are worthless! The theives had been stripping stuff off my truck so their hands were covered in grease. They left absolutely perfect full hand prints all over the truck. They wouldn't print the truck or so much as look at it, I got the same "for what?' BS response! Needless to say I was told I probably ought to drop it before I found myself in trouble- NICE! UGGHHHHHHHH!

Unfortunately the criminals always win. Up here in Maine if you report welfare fraud they tell you to drop it, if you report twice the state of maine will prosecute YOU!!!
Err, now look what happened...I'm getting worked up too!!

Scott, what is your "image attaching" process?
The way I do it is... Save image as. Then it goes into my "downloads"
Then when you click the insert image button up there^^ select file, from computer.

Ok.

Let's say that I post 3 pictures in one post.

Images obtained from a search engine. Right click. Save As.
I name them.

brad.jpg
{And....did this pic show up?}

I save to My Pictures.

I post these 3 pictures.
Maybe one shows up, the other 2 are a link.
Same thing with pictures I take with my camera.

If you go to my "Personal Page," under the "Camping" thread,
ALL pictures show up!

In fact, this is the only thread that I have trouble with posting pictures....

I just don't get it....:icon_scratch:

Can someone PLEASE answer the question of who can view "Personal Pages?"

Must you be a Charter Member or only a Registered user?

The Tube awaits replies......

Tick, Tick, Tick.....

Best,

Scott

Some words....

"Time Waits For No One"

Yes, star crossed in pleasure the stream flows on by
Yes, as we're sated in leisure, we watch it fly
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Time can tear down a building or destroy a woman's face
Hours are like diamonds, don't let them waste
Time waits for no one, no favours has he
Time waits for no one, and he won't wait for me

Men, they build towers to their passing yes, to their fame everlasting
Here he comes chopping and reaping, hear him laugh at their cheating
And time waits for no man, and it won't wait for me
Yes, time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
Drink in your summer, gather your corn
The dreams of the night time will vanish by dawn
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won't wait for me
No no no, not for me...

RC,

Ah, my Friend, I see that some do pay attention....

However, you have forgotten to add the words.

I got your back, Brother just as I know that you got my back!

"Time"

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say

Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away, across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spell

Your Friend,

Scott

And, it gets no easier.

The Individual project is a PowerPoint presentation. In front of the class.

And I have changed my project....

From the "Trail of Tears"

To mapping out VA centers and potential users.
Which Centers provide mental health support? 24/7/365?

How far must one travel to a Facility? Are there "Hotlines" set up?
What are the demographics of VA locations? Statewide? Nationwide?

Through GIS, these questions and more can be answered.

Yeah, this knowledge will certainly help me to determine where I'll continue my Education and help Vets....

And plot the course of my travels this summer....

And, what about the Tube?

Less than 3 days left....

Photo solutions?

Best,

Scott

In addition to 4 Chapters of "on line exercises" due on Monday.....Sheesh!

Guess I'm not going to the mountains this weekend....:BangHead:

Through numerous comunications, emails sent. Replied. Yada yada....

How hard is it to collect for animals whom thieves have stolen from?

Apparently, in this setting, nearly impossible.
Too many damned hoops....

OK.

How 'bout moving the collection site location elsewhere? Off Campus?
Just like moving clues elsewhere?

Scott

Seems like "movin on'" is in my future again....

Been in St. Louis at the Arch a few times.
Have distant family in the area.
Have pics somewhere, but schoolwork is more important, Dig?

Yet,

Some may ask, "How does Scott know of such great music?"

Not sure what you want, but the image was found from Google Images, and saved to My Pictures.

I'd bet that if I posted the same picture, from My Pictures, on my personal page, that it would appear with no problems. Why? :icon_scratch:
