Joke of the day - One day, a housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt.

Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to his wife,

"What setting do I use on the washing machine?"

"It depends," she replied. "What does it say on your shirt?"

He yelled back, "Texas A & M."

I'll not be attending but thanks.
You get a boat yet? Yaks might help if you can hold on to them....

Be careful friend.
Pop in for roll call after when you can.

2GF,

Make sure you have lots of food and water in case you have to hunker down for the storm to blow over. Here's hoping you and yours stay safe.

Regards + HH

Last time we went to fish Uncle Bills country out back of beyond my buddy asked what the pack I dropped in his boat was. (A boat was luxury.. having a means of carry allowing more than what pockets or daypack weighs when toting it far, though pockets are important as they usually are always with you and should carry duplicate basics.)
Survival gear I told him.
I brought mine too , was his reply.

Non perishable food , a means of transporting and treating water ,shelter( Tarp) ,fishing/trapping material beyond our regular fishing stuff , that could work on it's own.

Hygiene ,fire starting material and multiple means of fire starting ,bugdope, sunscreen, first aid, cordage (and para cord), stout needle , salt and pepper, extra knife, spare compass.. ect.
T.P. for the sheer luxury of it.

Were we to survive an incident ,we would have a chance of not being skeletons after.
And could wait out a storm if one somehow surprised us.

A fire bailed one companion out on a cold rainy day up there .....He will never forget ,and is expected to take action on his own, and much earlier ; should he get in such straits again.

Just worked a deal for 20 for $15.

"456 1400s-1600s Spanish Cobs"

Not bad for only .75 cents each including shipping.

I told him to be good to me with the 20 and I'd get more!

2GF,

Be safe, Brother!

Best,

Scott
