Somehow I got caught up living not my life, but the life of others. If god were to grant me one wish, I would ask to let me try it again from 17 forward and I would live MY dream of living on a sailboat. I still to this day have that dream, but that’s all it is. When I spent nights aboard crewing in the past, the smells, the lapping of the water against the hull.......... but today, I have a 7 inch titanium rod with 7 screws in my ankle, bad knees, 3 herniated discs, 3 bulging discs, arthritis in my right arm....... the list is long. I can tell when the wind blows......I crack and creak like an old sailboat....... So I think of buying some land, building a log cabin and becoming self sufficient.......... it’s ok to dream right???? Yeup I’m a hopeless romantic

Man...our dreams are just about identical!!!

I have found that the human voice, singing, is the most pleasurable sound right behind a child's laughter, crying for joy
and a Friend saying, "I love you."

Y'all be Well.

Just got some pics from my Landlord on the progress of his new house.
I suspect it was encouragement to "up my game" on deciding my future....

The walls are up, trusses are set, roof decking is being laid as I sit and type this message, and, if I know construction, (as I do)

The clock is ticking more loudly than ever!

DAMN!

As if I don't have enough on my plate......

But, y'all know that I've made it this far, and, I'll certainly land on my feet once again. Somewhere.....
Once again as a winner!
Maybe--for a minute, I might make a great leap. With my goods in storage until I find a safe landing point.

Regardless, I will always be a Winner!
I will accept nothing less.
Would you?

Perhaps you may not realize exactly "what is on my Plate."

Back in October, knowing that I will have to move, I contracted with a local flea market to "move" some of my collectibles.

I rented a booth space and moved in many items to sell.

Currency at flea market #2.jpg
(Helpful image of some of my currency that I'll never see again)

The owner/Proprietor was giddy that I had collectible currency to sell.
He even offered showcase exposure at the front of the market at no extra charge.

Well, my currency sold.
$9000 worth.

When it came time to receive my payment.....all I got was excuses for not paying me.

So, I filed a small claims action and I have records of the denominations and serial numbers of the currency sold.

I then did an internet search on the joker and found this.....

Inmate Detail - TANNER, ROBERT EARL Fourth

and this......

Looks like I'll win my small claims action, but, may never recover what is owed to me when this asshat goes to prison and makes $1.00 a month pressing license plates for the next 20 years......

Then, yesterday, I get this in the mail....

IMG_2702.JPG

So, I call the number and talk to Kristen and find out that the limit is $5000.
About half of what I'm owed.
All expenses paid....
Fly me to the left coast, hotel expenses for 2 nights and meals....
And the asshat is off the hook for what he owes....

What should I do?

I told Kristen to give me a night's sleep and I'd call her tomorrow.

Should I take my chances and win my action locally and possibly never see a penny or go for what's behind door number 3?

Of course the asshat would need to agree to the situation....

Strumming my 12 string, working on a new song....

"Wrap me in your love,
Tell me that you care
Whenever you call
I'll be there."

"The odds are slim
our faith is now
we will make it
let me show how"

More later....

The heaviest element known to science is Managerium.

This element has no protons or electrons, but has a nucleus made up of 1 neutron, 2 vice-neutrons, 5 junior vice-neutrons, 25 assistant vice-neutrons, and 125 junior assistant vice- neutrons all going round in circles.

Managerium has a half-life of three years, at which time it does not decay but institutes a series of reviews leading to reorganization.

Its molecules are held together by means of the exchange of tiny particles known as morons.
