Helped my locksmith Friend yesterday and went on an auto lockout.

It was an SUV at a house that the woman is a "psychic" out of her house.

Big ole sign on the front porch claims:
"Sees your Past, sees your Future."

When I met the woman to start to open the vehicle, I said,
"Bet cha didn't see this coming."

OK.
I'll go sit in the corner now.....

Best,

Scott

Scott,

you are serious and funny at the same time,

Scott,

you are serious and funny at the same time,

God Bless you Brother.

Serious and funny both come naturally to me, Friend.

The rub lies in when to be which....

I usually try to "steer" situations to avoid conflict.
The woman laughed and I ended up doing more work on a lock at her house.

My Friend also laughed when I told him what I had said and he said, "No you didn't?!"

I wasn't reckless in my comment; I had quickly scanned the demeanor of the woman and determined that such a comment would probably dispel or at least reduce the aggravation of the situation.

Many times I have a comment for a situation, but it would not help, so I TRY not to say it.....

Best,

Scott

See, Jeff, I KNEW that we have a lot in common.

By the way, are you granting me Honorary Canadian citizenship?

(I accept, eh?)

Best,

Scott

Has anybody else ever noticed how fast somebody's beliefs can come crashing down around them? You know those times, right? We all have those moments. People threatening people, people citing freedom of speech, people ranting and raving...then people being hauled out of one's office in handcuffs by three large police officers. This is just my opinion...but it would appear that one was wrong.

Since it appears that we have some Sabbath fans in the house tonight,

Here's the full album version of either the second or third album "donated" by my Sister for,
ahem, 8-)
silence about her diary entries....

Sorry,
I'll go back to the corner....
{no wonder that I sit in the corner of my classes...}

Best,

Scott

ADDED:
My early family life was pretty screwed up, huh?
My Mom would be mad 'cause I'd be blastin' this on my stereo to "rub it in" to my Sister,
and the frictions and tensions.....

Pop?
A cold six pack and finding something to tinker on in the garage.
The man barely had a third grade education but was a genius. :icon_thumright:

I ALWAYS made sure when I was married to have a garage....

I had returned from camping and my Landlord knocks at my door.

I answer and he has 10,000 Lincoln cents for me!

That ought to keep me out of trouble for a minute or two...

Already found one "shot through the grease."

I use the same name- AU24K.

I'm poor; I can barely afford to buy cents.... :laughing7:

I appreciate your replies.

Anyway...long story short. Turns out the District Attorney was on my side. Who would have figured? Real shame...one needed treatment and not a jail cell. O who am I kidding, its all just a lie created by Big Pharma to shove drugs down people's throats. Anyway, County Sheriff agreed with me too. Funny the way the world works...

God Bless

Makes me think...:icon_scratch:

"When the light of right and wrong, good and bad, and the truth shall lead,
Only those who need to hide from judgement will seek the darkness."

I'm sure the same sentiment has been quoted before, but that is my original interpretation.

Crispin, my Friend.
Know this;
You, me and every one else is just one voice, one opinion, one go at life, one vote....

As you travel upon your daily appointed experiences, and see life changing, morphing and evolving before your very eyes,
Some for the good, mostly for the bad, embrace that which warms your heart, and shun that which makes your heart ache for humanity.

As one individual, you have choices.

"How can I ease my bad day AND show love to an orphaned critter?"
Go to the animal shelter with a pocketful of milkbones.
I guarantee your bad day will disappear!

We must all choose our individual battles wisely; I prefer those that I have a chance at and the ones to benefit others.

But we ALL need time to ourselves...to genuflect and make mental connections of the past to help guide our personal futures.

I sincerely hope that word around the pound is that you're good for a milkbone! :icon_thumright:

Always,
My Best Wishes,

Scott

Scott,

I'm a bit rusty on the latest insofar as coin collecting goes......But to get an idea as to values of error coins, overstrikes, etc....I'd go to the ANA website (American Numismatic Association) and check for dealers who specializes, in error coins....
