What's on my mind.

(In an unhealthy, down the stretch, towards my Degree, obsessing to the point of sleep disturbing,
ramen is starting to taste good, mania {fear} of whether I
have enough gas rationed for the final lap....)

Hope all are Well and Happy.

Best,

Scott

Otis sez,
"Quit tryin' to feel sorry for yourself and go
see Julie again and love some critters at the shelter."

By Golly! I think I will!

I've been savin' newspapers, the New York Times, which part of my tuition pays for.
I can think of no better newspaper for animals to....never mind....
And I can get some "Pounce" cat treats again.
Hmmmm...
I bet I can get some nice bones, cheap, from the butcher....

Otis, you are right again.
I miss ya, Buddy....

Best,

Scott

I firmly believe that love of animals is a healthy state of psychology.
I also believe that animals can play a role in helping Folks with problems.
It works for me!

One must also go deeper to understand the psychology of animals.
All of the many species, to better understand the human psyche as it relates to Nature.

(Yes, this includes spiders and such. My Friends always cringe when I pick up a spider
with my bare hands and carry him outside....:laughing7:)

Sorry,
I've digressed.
Again.

But,
If only,
If there was a way,
Perhaps through study,
We might,
Be able to "Talk To The Animals,"
I believe that humans would be more benevolent towards one another....
----------------------
Those who love, watch, marvel at and desire the company of animals,
will always be my Friend.

My Best Wishes,

Scott

For my Friends.

I went with my locksmith Friend today to a "Re-key" job,
maybe 10-12 cylinders,
and sitting in the garage, in a cage, was an adult, 4 year old male rabbit.

I made comment to the female resident, (about 40 something) that the poor guy needed to stretch his legs.

This was probably a $750,000 house and I was told,
"Well, this house is just a small house that we're renting. We can't let the rabbit run free here. Do You want him? Free?"

I wanted to cry, right there.

I could not take Mr. Long Ears.

I suggested the animal shelters. {Knowing the futility of such},
Finally suggesting "Craig's List."

I felt the need to mention for her to be careful of respondents, perhaps looking for an alternative to a chicken dinner.

I later told my locksmith Friend that a domesticated rabbit turned into the wild
would surely become a meal of the first predator they encountered.

I'm still thinking of it now.....

What could I have done?

Best,

Scott

Not much else you coukd have done Scott unless you wanted to take him and then advertise yourself for a good home..You might want to check and see if there are any bunny rescues in your general area, I know we have several here...those kind of people shold not have animals..

OK, Back to school and going to see Julie this week.

Hey! I'll ask Julie.
Tomorrow!
Between classes.
I'll call her and see if she has any suggestions for this area!

Otis sez,
"Yeah. Follow your heart, Scott."

Dang! Otis is right again!

Not a bad idea.....
How would that ad run?

"Quiet, studious type seeking loving home?"

:laughing7:

What's nice is you would be able to pick the situation ie no small kids..and charge a fee...as you know lab people use Craig's list to find animals for research. ..they don't like to pay and they pretend to be responsible folks..
Bunny need special care and special food!

Umm....
NO WAY!

I could not be a part of any research unless the safety of the animal is guaranteed.

I see Mr. Long Ears as the Buck in a stable of doe breeding.

Just in case I happen to be reincarnated as a rabbit....

Best,

Scott
