Ah!
I see that my Friend RC wants some blues this Valentine's day...

Here's some blues for you, Brother....

The song that I'd sing to Carol....

{sniffle...}

AHEM!

Ah, the blues.

Why do I speak of the blues?

Friends, I have lived the blues.

Dinner from a dumpster?
Let's go to the back of the steakhouse.

Yeah, there's a story or three...

No, I was not a slave nor an indentured servant, yet,
my lot was cast as the only male progeny left of my namesake.

I've been married thrice, but have not yet found a suitable mate for my offspring.

Perhaps my seed withers; perhaps I shall not find a maiden suitable for procreation...

Perhaps I'm playing with thou mind!
(not really... I've just always been a loser at love, hard as I try....
That be my problem, not yours....)

:occasion14:

Best,

Scott

You know,
I truly hope that with all of my past experiences, I can help just one person to "Grab their boot strap"
and be a better person.

Sorry for too much info,
But to answer your question...
"How does one lose when loved?"

When one loses a Friend, a Companion, a Soul-Mate, and when one loses all of that,
What else is there left to lose?

But, with all else of the world, Life continues.
You Better yourself, for the good of others, remembering passed
Family and Friends, and know, that YOU have made a difference!

Always,

Scott

Pat, Dear,

I've tuned many a 6 string,
a few 12 strings,
And even a piano in a church....

But I've never been able to tuna fish....

Sweet 12 string Ovation that Kevin is playin'!

My Best,

Scott

PS.
Tuna Recipes?
Sure!

Of course, Otis approved!

And there,s a man who does not count his spoons when he returns home after an absence.
You know loved ones lost are not lost to us or we would not remember them. No longer tangible maybe, but remembered sure.Losing all those lost and related to memory would short a lot of memory. In time ,ironically all lost any way. Memory of loved are history ,good or bad its real.Like a gal I see now an then at school reunions.

Hear that bacon?

I see that we may be heading towards hard-core, old timey Country Music.
Should our course lead in this direction, I'd like to offer this from my youth:

How I miss the "simpler days."

My Best,

Ah,
Don'tcha all know that "Country" music was a part of "growing up" in the 60's?

The "Country" of your parents gave way to the music that you remember and cherish.

Y'all remember "The Hager Brothers"
on "Hee Haw?"

My past experiences surely dictate my Future....

Best,

Scott

Well, it's been at least a month since I posted on this thread, so let's go to 1941 and somebody asked to have the blues...

With the Blues, you gotta get down to the real stuff...

Wedding receptions in my youth were entertaining. The polyester vs denim suits, free booze fueled dancers attempting the robot.
Certain tunes were as mandatory as ham slices on buttered buns, the signs of a proper reception!
