I was not able to see Sonja yesterday and sent an email explaining:

Sonja, my Friend,

I was on the side of I-985 yesterday making a key for a car on the side of the highway.

Heavy traffic zooming by, merely feet from me.

Then the rain began. Turned into a frog drownder!

I finished making a key and tried to call to let you know that I wouldn't make it....

Perhaps tomorrow.
AH! You are closed on Fridays....

I Feel bad and will see how my schedule fits in with your suggested dates.

Hope you have a great Weekend!

My Best Wishes,

To an Angel in Heart,

Scott

I also have decided to perhaps not go camping one last time before the Semester starts because of pain and swelling in my foot.

I'm still ready to go for at least one night if the swelling reduces by tomorrow.....

I REALLY need one more trip before my studies commence.....

Hope all enjoy their weekend!

Best,

Scott

Such Musicianship, through times of past...
Just as I remembered.
Years ago.
From my youth....

Ain't this interweb thing great or what?

Best,

Scott

I didn't embark upon a mountain journey today,
But instead embarked upon perfecting my Sushi and Sashimi skills...

I start with a simple sushi roll.

IMG_0407.JPG

Then, I push it...

My first attempt at sashimi....

IMG_0408.JPG

Now I feel "In the zone...."

IMG_0409.JPG

IMG_0410.JPG

Of course, I've got to snack while I create....

IMG_0419.JPG

The chopsticks pictured above in photos are from my Friend, Patrick.
The Special Chopsticks previously mentioned.....

Miss you, Bro!

I'm Free!

I LOVE SUSHI!

(Glad I know how to make it!)

Yeah, I got plenty of soy sauce now and enough
Wasabi to make you cry like a little school girl....

Come help me enjoy my creations!

My Best,

Scott

Yeah, I was once "Kitchen Manager" of a Sorority at
Kansas University.....

My love of creative dining menus, nutritious choices and menu planning for
"Parent's Day" surpassed my love of nubile young women,
Appearing in front of me every morning, in scanty nightgowns, wanting breakfast.....

Such a choice for young Scotty...

Yeah, it was hard......
(....two, three....)

But, he chose honor and respect.

And a new recipe....

Now that we have enjoyed our efforts,

Let's just sit back and enjoy a ride....

Scott

"Riding With The King"
(Eric Clapton)

I dreamed I had a good job and I got well paid.
I blew it all at the penny arcade.
A hundred dollars on a kewpie doll.
No pretty chick is gonna make me crawl.

Get on a TWA to the promised land.
Every woman, child and man
Gets a Cadillac and a great big diamond ring.
Don't you know you're riding with the king?

He's on a mission of mercy to the new frontier,
He's gonna check us all on out of here.
Up to that mansion on a hill
Where you can get your prescription filled.

Get on a TWA to the promised land.
Everybody clap your hands.
And don't you just love the way that he sings?
Don't you know we're riding with the king?
Riding with the king.
Don't you know we're riding with the king?

A tuxedo and shiny 335.
You can see it in his face, the blue never lie.
Tonight everybody's getting their angel wings.
And don't you know we're riding with the king?

I stepped out of Mississippi when I was ten years old
With a suit cut sharp as a razor and a heart made of gold.
I had a guitar hanging just about waist high
And I'm gonna play this thing until the day I die.

Don't you know we're riding with the king?
Don't you know we're riding with the king?
Riding, you're riding with the king.
You're riding, you're riding with the king.

Chevy 192 straight six.

I have used the snowblower for propulsion but front casters liked to dig in sometimes.
With all safety devices defeated the blower would just keep on going forward if neutral was missed as arms stretched..8-)

Best,

Perhaps something foreign to power a wheelchair?

Say, European?

German, you say?

I might have connections....

(Obscure?)

I'm actually thinking of a motorcycle engine.

BMW Motorcycles on the Gulf Coast

I'm too damn old to be foolin' with these kids google textin' or what ever.

Good ole fashion chain-drive.
Not shaft-drive.
Nor belt-drive.
Nope.

You be the judge.....

Scott, I picked up a old Lincoln tombstone ac stick welder for a buddy of mine for $60.00 at a barn sale a while back. They can be found cheap. I have two Lincolns myself, a wire feed and a ac/dc stick welder. I prefer the stick welder on d/c any day.
