Crusty coppers, Ramrod thimble & Early military strap buckle

Real tough today finding a site and had to settle on a spot we did quite a while ago. I knew we didn't tap it completely so enjoyed digging a few old targets. I did dig an early military button but unfortunately not enough left to ID. The 5 coins are basically just green disks too.

I know things will get much better when the crops get dug so you better look out then.

Nice work, buddy. I hope you'll be able to get some detail on those coins. If you can ID any of them, I'd love to hear what they are. Glad you could get out today. Today was our first hunt in three weeks. Too danged hot here--but today was Lovely. I've got an excellent post coming...probably will get it up tomorrow after all the finds are cleaned and ID'ed.

Cheers,

Buck

Great hunt!!
I know that I've been a bit luck with the
Large Coppers this last month, but I would
be ecstatic finding more than on in a hunt.

Iron Patch, you have been kicking some serious Colonial arse lately. You are a great hunter!

I, too, would love to hear if you ID'ed any of the coppas.

Now, get out there and find us another counterstamped Colonial coin...but a GOLD one this time. :icon_sunny:
