That's an awesome collection Cru , will take some swinging to surpass that in 2015 ..cheers Mick

Incredible year for "the Cru " I can hardly wait to see what turns up in 2015 - and how the Deus compares with the earlier machine .

Incredible!!! I love your devotion, and you sharing every hunt with us..
the way you break it down, and make it look so simple!!! Look forward to your post this year with the Deus.
You should have your best year yet..
George

Stunning results.Celtic gold,Saxon silver all that Roman! That Clodius is worth some some money.

I used to keep stats like that years ago, but they didn't look anything like yours. Those are some incredibly big numbers Cru. You're finding more roman coins than than most everyday coin shooters find lincoln memorials. And over 500 hammered coins in the last few years is bordering on the ridiculous. Many congrats on not just the finds , but all the hard work in the field and behind the scenes. Hope you can top those numbers in 2015, if that's possible. Good luck to you guys.

Amazing, absolutely amazing at the history that you get the opportunity to unearth. Congratulations on a great 2014 and wishing you the best in 2015!

Yes, the Roman Bronze Coin count is like getting an everage of 4 coins every single day. That will be near impossible to beat because we will never get the 'stars' (fields) to line up again, like they did last year.

Love the stat taking there! impressive!

Cru that one gold you found recently gets me a little more excited then I should be over a coin. Lol. What an incredible set of finds!

Thanks Cru for posting up the totals for 2014 and nothing short of amazing, especially the Roman coinage totals! I can honestly say that looking over the pictured finds gets the mind dreaming of finding something remotely close to what you have found on one the trips over to play in the dirt.

Unbelievable. Thanks for sharing and congrats on your years success.

We're never happy.. a lot of folks here wish they had the history we do in the East U.S., and we look at the age of the history that you find and it makes our brains water too!
I think it would be amazing to pull a Roman coin out, with all they did to push their civilization as far as they did. Tons of history in one coin.. and you have bags! WTG! That's a lot of looking I know it wasn't that easy. Always like to see what you find. Like the Viking finds esp. as well. (I'd be tickled with your tub of "scrap" buttons!) lol
I know it may be hard, but Have a better New Year anyway!

Your bucket of buttons makes my little pile of around 30 buttons look like an ocean vs a puddle. You had a great year, good luck in 2015.

Those numbers are staggering Cru! You've obviously mastered every aspect of the hobby: research, permissions, detecting, identifying. Great job this year. It's always fun to see what treasures you're pulling from the dirt

Thanks, I wouldn't say Mastered any of them as we are still learning loads, but we are persistent, methodical & maybe a little obsessed!
