While searching for an old homesite we stumbled onto civil war bullets. All together our small group dug about 8 bullets and melted lead. Me and my wife found the bullets pictured. Walking a short distance from the bullet cluster I located a high tone, out popped this spur. From the Gardner bullets I thought I had a CSA spur. This wasnt confirmed until I made it home and discovered this spur to be a "CSA Brandy Station Style" spur, mid war manufactured in Richmond Va.
