My last thread was on March 18th, I've been out maybe two times in the last couple weeks. Today I went back to the farm that I found that pretty 1797 Draped Bust One Cent. The owner there only lets me detect if he is home, I tried a few times to get Jackalope there while he was out that last time hunting with me. Today ended up confirming my suspicions that much more is there. It wasn't until I got home that I figured out I had found the Connecticut Copper, I thought I had a King George. That makes four coppers I have found there and every one of them were what I call extremely deep. Most of the buttons were not. Maybe some day they will turn and not just till this field (at least it is in soybean) (you know what I mean WIF) I have been working on health issues and it felt good to be out again, especially scoring some nice finds.
Enjoy the pix

I knew you'd see that, I didn't have my hopes up, but couldn't wait to get home, it's made of copper or brass. just ornate design on one side, smooth on the other. Thanks Scrappy coco

Thanks Chris, now I have the dilemma of striper fishing or metal detecting tomorrow?

Awesome hunt Brad! Glad you got out and big congrats on scoring a sweet state copper man.
Thanks Brad, this one is in much better shape then the one I found a couple months ago, I actually found my two favorites. I love state coins and Half Cents

Right on Brad!! Glad you got out a little, now get to feeling better!!
I'm on the right track now, feeling much better, in time I will feel even better. It was nice getting out, the finds were icing on the cake. The owner is 24 years old, he has a very beautiful farm. If I go back tomorrow I'm going to take the coins to show him and see if I can take a few more pix of the property to post.

I know all too well, Treb.

Excellent finds!
