Hi Everyone, especially CTX users,
I'm a fairly new user of the Minelab Ctx3030. I have had the machine for roughly 4 months, and I'm not one of those folks who believes the machine will basically "suck the silver out of the ground," like I've read from many of users.
Furthermore, the reason I'm writing this post is to see if I can get some advice on setting the CTX and taking advantage of the features of the machine. I'm located in Tennessee, so most of the time. I am relic hunting and always hopeful that coins will pop out of the hole. If any of the CTX3030 users have a custom setting that has made the machine work brilliantly for them, can you guys please respond to this post and let me know what those specifics are? I love metal detecting and traded a confederate buckle for two Minelab detectors, so it would set me at ease know that I have the machine set correctly to give myself the best chance of finding relics and coins.
