I was reading today about the cruise ships that are arriving in Cuba from the US, first time in 50 years apperantly. It occured to me those beautiful beaches must have riches just waiting to be found, has anyone on this forum attempted to hunt Cuba waters? My family is originally from Santa clara so I have plenty of family I can stay with while I uncover the gold:hello2: Is it even possible to do such things?

GETTING MACHINES IN IS NO PROB - GETTING BACK OUT WITH THEM IS
CANADIANS HAVE BEEN ABLE AS WELL AS EUROPEANS TO TRAVEL THERE FOR YEARS
I THOUGHT LONG AGO A FEW GUYS CLEANED UP AT SOME OF THE NICE RESORTS
BUT HEARD STORIES ABOUT TROUBLES GETTING THEIR MACHINES OUT OF THE COUNTRY
AND I THINK THERE CUSTOMS WANTED THE GOLD - BUT THAT WAS LIKE 15 YRS AGO I THINK
DONT KNOW ABOUT RECENT NEWS

I think that they may be hunted more than you would think from an American perspective.

As already mentioned, the world has been going to Cuba without hesitation. The Cubans like many Latin Americans can't afford mainstream metal detectors but a lot of these exist PI Polish - Build your Metal Detector and they work quit well. I've even seen some waterproof ones in Brazil.
