Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this button ? Maybe CW ? I found this today in a yard where I have previously found other CW buttons and relics. I couldnt find anything online so I'm thinking it is not CW related. A few other relics were found along with 4 wheats. Kind of a slow day but it was good to be back out after a 3 month hiatus. Thank you.

Bob, that is a great looking button. Although it is not a CW military button, it could still be of the period, and possibly worn by a soldier in late war. A lot of Confetrit' soldiers were wearing what they could get their hands on by late war. Some wore captured pieces of clothing or items sent them from home. This was found on a site where other relics were found, so it could have been worn by a soldier in the war. Nice saves.
