Found Many Iron Buckles, Mini's, A Lead Smelter, Poor Cast Lead Grape Shot, Back Pack Hardware, Iron Hook & Forged Iron L's? Also Found An Unusual Clay Bottle, Have Never Seen One Like It. Thanks For Looking And Any Info On The Bottle Would Be Appreciated. Trk5capt...

Those are some nice finds for sure.

The clay bottle is really awesome. I never saw one like it either. Was it sticking up out of the ground. Or was it a surface find.

What some outstanding finds from that site, trk5capt. I have read that CSA troops sometimes used clay canteens, but I have never seen one. That is a gorgeous example of what I have read about. WTG

Great finds there pal! Many of those items look a lot like some of my digs.

I found a pit once that had those clay bottles but they were all broken :'(
