CW SKIRMISH SITE & A COUPLE SURPRISES

Weather was Great Here Today, Sunny and in the 50's. Art Had Prier Commitments So I Decided to Hit The CW Skirmish Site. Found The Usual Fired Minis, Shell & Shot Fragments, Sabot Pieces, Flat Buttons, Found an Enfield Bullet that some Confederate Soldier was using as a Nipple Protector for His Rifle. Now For The Surprise, Found a WW2 Silver Expert Marksmans Badge With Three Bars, Two have Coast Artillery & One Is Marked Pistol D. Also Found an ROTC Collar Brass. I Guess That I Am Not The First Person to be interested in the History of this site. Sorry For The Poor Quality of the Pics. trk5capt...

Some counties, such as Henrico and Dinwiddie counties in Virginia and Charleston County in South Carolina have a great concentration of battlefields. Yet, even in Virginia, where two great armies fought for most of four years, only one third of the counties have any of the principal Civil War battlefields

gypsyheart, that info. helps me a lot, thanks.
I was told I could search a site where they
are clearing to build houses on White Oak Rd.
I have to make sure that the person that said
I could search there, had the right to do it.

Hey trk5capt...Great find's as usual,is this the first time you've hunted this place?I think nhbenz is right ,the expert badge does have a wreath on it,think this one is a sharpshooter,regardless great find's...Hey capt.,try and use a magnifying glass up to the lens,work's on all my pic's for detail without having to go through some other mean's....Congrat's again and HH!!
