CW Store Card and other 1800's coins

Got out on Sunday (Fathers Day) to the park where I found my LC cent a week ago (Park Recon Hunt) and it has some good hidden treasures within its borders.

One of the neighbors who lives across the street came over to shoot the bull and to see if we were finding anything. I gave him a look at a couple of coins and then showed him the trash pouch. He said that there had been a lot of people in the pass 35 years detect this small park, but it's obvious they didn't get it all.

No sense in showing him all the goodies

The Canadian is almost worn smooth on the reverse, but I was able to make out a date of 1882 with the help of a magnifying glass.

The Buffalo is a 1916 and doesn't show the date well unless held in the light at just the right angle.

We put in about 5 hours before the sun and humidity finally forced us to quit for the day

This is the first CW Store Card I have ever pulled.

I'll be back up at the end of July. We bought a small place last year close to LaPorte. Now that they have casinos near by it's easier to get my wife to come back there. It will always be home to me.
Congrats again on the outstanding finds.

Congratulations on finding what others didn't! I have found 8 CW tokens this year but I like the bust and advertisment on that one better than anything I have found or seen before. Great job! I am just across the line from you but don't hunt Indiana much at all. You have some great history around you including some old parks that are no longer there. Good luck to you.

I feel the same way you do. Choosing which one is the best can become a bit of a problem, but I do like the token myself.
