I have a CZ6 which is basically the same.

Pros: Good depth.
Indian head cents read on "zinc" cent icon.
Good I.D. on nickels
Simple to operate.

Cons: Hot on nails.
Deep coins will bounce around on the meter.
Not very well balanced. (your arm will get sore unless you use a hipmount).

It's a good detector and will hold it's own against some of the high priced whizzz bangs that some can't use. Go to Fisher's web site and download the manual. It's better than a ACE 250 and deeper too. I still have mine and a few others.

I have one and I really like the analog ID. I know the circuitry is supposed to be the same as the CZ-6, but me and BK differ on the indians. May be the different soil types in our respective locations. I can't get them to hit zinc for nothin'.

I think the CZ has better ID for nickels than other manufacturers for sure. And the depth is great. Deep iron will give mixed signals, but after digging a bunch, you'll know.
Fast response means a little faster sweep speed.

Overall, I like it because it is simple to operate and effective.
