Hey, i just want to comment on my cz7a that i have had since 1998,i have found alot of silver with it but never used it on the beach, always used my aquanaut 1280x,a couple days ago the weather was nearly 50 here in western ny,i took the cz and found a couple pennies some copper scrap.i got 3 hits in the silver range after scraping off 10 inchies of overburden i hit frozen gravel still had 2 inches to go,i will go back, this detector has been like a good freind,i would never part with it,i take care of it 20 years from now it will still look like it just came out of the box.

CZ7a, Compadre (wader mod), Land Ranger Pro, Pro Pointer

Metal Detecting
It's a great machine and a stone nickel hog but on the heavy side. My beach rig is a Sunray FZ-12 coil on it...feels like swinging a boat anchor LOL. Even with a Detecting Buddy to take the weight off it's still ponderous. Guess the new Fisher isn't the lightweight CZ/F hybrid I'm pining for.
