Dad and Tanner Cent Boxes 1 - 5 (with pics and stats)

Tanner and I have started hitting cents again. I thought it would be fun to keep track of 2017's finds.

Five $25 boxes searched. Some boxes were made of of customer wrapped rolls, some were machine rolled.
Wheats = 66
King George = 1
Oldest = 1917
Average per box 13.2

Keep on Searching
Dad and Tanner

I like the way you sort them out. But I gotta ask, what constitutes whether a wheatie is "common" or not? Does common, for you, mean later than a certain year?

Glad to see you and Tanner hitting the boxes. Just curious, why are these being called 2017?

1940-1958 I consider common dates. 59' are memorial reverse cents, not wheats.

A while back a '59 wheat turned up but PCGS wouldn't touch it - didn't deny or confirm it's authenticity. I think they were afraid of being wrong since no one ever found one & they thought it impossible to exist.

We are just getting a jump on next year. It is kind of cheating, but it is hard to keep the volume up that you hope to. We want to see what the results of 150 boxes in one year will be.
