Dad said (true story)

When in High School I asked my dad if I could borrow his car to go on a Friday night date...he said yes, however make sure that you clean footprints (and other evidence) off of the seats, side panels and headliner, because he was taking mom shopping Saturday morning...:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

All of you people were lucky. I was NEVER allowed to drive my dad's car, mainly because the seats folded into beds. Next, I wasn't allowed a car until I was a month and a half before I was 21. At the time, I was hell on wheels.....still am, dragging at any stop light where a car will TRY to beat me. In 2 yrs with this S U V, I'm 19-1 in wins and losses, having lost the one time when I miss-shifted from 2nd into 5th (6 speed manual). With my previous S U V (5 speed manual), in 10 yrs I was 111-6 in wins and losses. I've calmed down a little now and only drive around 25K mile a yr now. Zoom-Zoom !!

I had a Nash Rambler wagon in college...one night after the Drive-In movie was over, I couldn't get the drivers seat back up...did ya ever try to drive a stick shift over the drive-in humps...damn near impossible...every time I'd clutch my butt slipped backwards...now I laugh about it...sure wasn't funny at the time though...
