The only thing that makes me think they are not cufflinks is the attachment points on the back. All the older cufflinks I've seen online have had a shank on the back like buttons. Any ideas?

Collar brass usually has attachment points like that but I'm confused as to why collar brass would be so un-adorned. Is that a word?... lol

I think so...lol. I found them in the same hole. So that's why I was thinking there cufflinks.
