Sherm,

The magnolia tree is in my front yard. This rare treat (threat) happened on Dec 11th...snow still on the ground till the 13th. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,205302.0.html No electricity for 5 days, thank goodness for the generator and wood heater.

Yep, we do have strange things & strange people in LA. ;D ;D

Woke up this morning to Windchills low as -5 outside.

no heat in the house surprised the water in my coffeepot didn't
freeze up overnight.

thermometer in house says 45 but it sure dosn't feel that warm.
Glad I'm not a woman when I hit the Bathroom

sitting here with a small electric heater at my feet waiting for 8AM
to call for help with my propaine heater to get it running again.
Don't like calling their Emergency number & sounding Helpless :P

No Warmup outside till Wednsday when the Mid 40's come back.
They are Promising it will hit a Balmy 22 today
with a west wind between 23 and 28 mph

Beautiful downtown Aloha=
24 F blowing snow.
About 14" as it has melted some when the rain came and hardened over it for 1/2" or so.
Still have propane for when the power goes out.

Here is looking out backdoor.

It is pretty to look at! If I dont have to get out in it, unless it was for sleigh ride or some fun event... you know get out when you want! Otherwise a warm house a fireplace the tree lit up, it would be nice to enjoy!
